Bridges all over the world are a tribute to man's desire for advancement in the face of nature's power and a symbol of strength and fortitude. As a tribute to the magnificent rail bridges built by the Indian Railways across the many great rivers, we have named these eight rooms after the same. These rooms are tastefully done up in the imperial style and are reminiscent of the grandeur of Indian Railways. These rooms will take you back in time to another era… another world.
Sample art work displayed in our ' Bridges' category of rooms is displayed below - (Left) Curzon bridge during its construction period, 1903-05, (Center) Original girders being replaced on the Jamuna bridge in 1928, (Right) An aerial view of Jamuna bridge after re-girdering in 1929.
